International Dissertation Research Fellowship

The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) is now accepting applications for their International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF). This fellowship offers 9-12 months of support to graduate students (regardless of citizenship) in the humanities and social sciences who are enrolled in doctoral programs in the United States, and conducting dissertation research outside the United States. The IDRF promotes research situated in a specific discipline and geographical region, but is also informed by interdisciplinary and cross-regional perspectives. Applicants must complete all PhD requirements except on-site research by the time the fellowship begins or by December 2010, whichever comes first. Application deadline is November 3.
